LIFE GROUPS

"Whenever two or three of you come together in my name, I am there with you"

(Matthew 18:20)

What is a life group? A life group is a gathering of two or more people who meet together with God and become committed to one another and to Christ. It is very important to God that we develop and grow close and personal relationships with each other and with Him. Jesus himself developed small groups when he chose his twelve disciples, taught them the word then sent them out into small groups to share the word with others. During the very early centuries Christians met with one another in their homes where they shared their stories of faith and encouraged one another while sharing how God is working in their lives. Today, life groups are the basic building blocks of the church and have become a place where people can deepen their relationship with God and one another. Life groups can meet at various times of the month, week, year to study scripture, pray, support one another and to serve the spiritual needs of our church family and the community.

We currently offer many different life group opportunities but would like to see more develop. On the table you will find a list of the life groups currently being offered, if you would like to join one of them, please contact the group leader. We are looking forward to forming additional groups, if you are interested in joining a life group and there is any type of life group you would be interested in, please fill out the questionnaire on the table and place it in the basket. New life groups will be forming in June based on your input.

You may ask, “Why join a life group?” In a life group, you can explore the Bible, grow as a follower of Christ, connect with others in the church and make new friends and find support during times of crisis, change, stress. Life groups are a great place for you to grow as a follower of Christ with a group of friends that you will learn to challenge, encourage and have fun with. In times of crisis or life changing moments, they can provide a sense of stability and security knowing there are people who really care for you and support you. Life groups are places where you can ask questions without fear share your thoughts and learn from the insight of others,
